Middlesex to play Warne's IPL side

MIDDLESEX Panthers, with their reign as Twenty20 Cup champions nearly over, have arranged a match against last year's Indian Premier League champions Rajasthan Royals for charity at Lord's on July 6.

======STOP SUMMARY=====

Royals, based at the 'pink city' of Jaipur, are captained by Shane Warne, and this exciting 20-overs challenge match is to benefit the British Asian Trust, one of the Prince of Wales' charities. Start will be 4.30pm .

This match is intended to celebrate the best of the Indian and English games, the first match in the UK to feature an IPL team. Royals, the cheapest of the franchise, made character count in winning the IPL with players such as Warne, Graeme Smith, Yusuf Pathan and Munaf Patel. England internationals Eoin Morgan and Owais Shah are expected to play for Middlesex.

There will be an extended interval of 45 minutes to show a live Bollywood extravaganza in the middle, including an appearance from Shilpa Shetty.
